Option A:

4 weeks full-time continuously

 

Option B:

10 weekends consecutively to fulfil the minimum *committed hours of work

*Minimum committed hours of work is 44 hours/week or a total of 176 hours.

 

 

Participants of Project POP programme will be able to benefit from the following:

  • To be prepared for entry-level employment in the food and beverage industry.
  • Have fun participating in a study and work training programme.
  • Pick up basic Food & Beverage skills and knowledge and gain real-time Food & Beverage industry insights.
  • Have the opportunity to continue working with our Food & Beverage Corporate Sponsors after the programme ends.

Participants will be trained on the following:

  • Food Safety Course Level 1
  • Interact and Serve Food & Beverage Customers
  • Prepare for Service
  • Preparation of Non-Alcoholic Beverages
  • Provide Counter/Take-Away Service

*Minimum number of hours of work at recommended 44 hours/week; subject to changes as agreed between Corporate Sponsor and Participant.

  1. Once the Sponsorship is confirmed, participant is not allowed to change the work assignment.
  2. Participant will have to bear the sponsorship fees if he/she:
    1. fails to achieve 100% (excluding leave approved by the Academy) attendance for the programme (study and work inclusive);
    2. fails to participate in and pass all related assessments;
    3. in any way render himself/herself unable or unsuitable to pursue the programme;
    4. is expelled from the programme due to serious breach of discipline;
    5. fails to complete the training Programme for any other reason not stated above
