Upon successful completion, the graduate is awarded with a full qualification in Diploma in Culinary Arts (E-Learning), by At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy.

The Online Diploma in Culinary Arts is a 6-month e-learning program consisting of synchronous and asynchronous self-directed online study.

It allows students to study the fundamentals and slowly progress to advanced skills and knowledge in the Culinary Arts at their own pace individually. The online Diploma program comprises an integrated and broad-based training approach which includes soft-skills components necessary to deepen and broaden specific jobs occupation. Hence it enables our students to be future-ready and adapt to the fast-changing/dynamic Food & Beverage work environment.

The program content of this online Diploma follows the Culinary Arts progression track and is benchmarked against the Food Services Skills Framework of SkillsFuture Singapore.

Ideal candidates for this program should have a passion for culinary arts, possess basic computer skills, good moral character, be artistic and disciplined. All prospective students need to complete an interview and online profiling test upon successful submission of application forms. All local and international applicants should meet the following minimum entry requirements (MERs) for this program.

 

• Passion for  Culinary Arts 

• At least 16 years old

• Possess basic computer skills


Educational Qualifications
• US High school educational level or equivalent qualifications
• Advanced level of Online English Bridging Course/IELTS 5.0/TOEFL (internet-based total) 35-45/WPL 5 or be a native speaker.


Program Requirement
• Have access to a laptop/desktop

  • Enrolment is subject to availability and incomplete applications will not be processed.
  • The program is conducted in English and proficiency in the language is a requirement.

  • Trainee who chooses to drop out prior to successful completion will be requested to pay the program fees in full and will not be entitled to any certificates.
  • The following items are compulsory and must be purchased before the commencement of the program:
    • Medical Insurance,
    • Fee Protection Scheme.
  • Students are required to meet the following criteria in order to obtain their relevant certificates: 

    a. Minimum attendance of 75% ;

    b. Pass all assessments required by the program; 

    c. Abide to the student code of conduct.

4. For successful applicants will receive a copy of the Advisory Note, Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and/or Standard PEI Student Contract via email. 

5. Please be advised that the nett fees payable has to be made in full within 10 working days upon signing of the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) & student contract or before course commencement date, whichever is earlier. Payment will not be accepted before the signing of LOA & student contract.
