Q: Who has influenced you the most in your life?
A: My mother. She cares for the family and works hard to give us what we need. These are the values that she have taught me. She inspires me in the kitchen as well! My mother is an amazing cook. 


Q: What’s your greatest aspiration?
A: To run a social enterprise. I believe it is important to give back to the society. To teach a skill that no one could take away from them - I'd rather teach a man to fish than to give him the fish.


Q: What’s the best thing that you’ve learned in At-Sunrice?

A: Culinary knowledge and skills. The Chef Instructors in At-Sunrice are very experienced in their own fields. It is a joy to be able to learn from them.


Q: What’s your most memorable experience in At-Sunrice?

A: Graduation. It marked the end of a 15-month journey that was filled with fun and of course loads of hard work and determination.


Q: What’s your favourite quote?
A: Work hard. Stay humble.
