Prepare for a tantalizing journey into the rich flavors of Peranakan Cuisine with Chef Benjamin Seck, the esteemed owner and head chef of True Blue Cuisine.
In traditional Peranakan households, family recipes are closely guarded and passed down through generations. This Sunday's Peranakan menu by Chef Benjamin reflects his childhood memories of his grandmother and mother cooking with mortar and pestle over charcoal stoves. In the 1960s-1980s, some fortunate Peranakan households had domestic helpers who learned the art of Peranakan cooking from the matriarchs.

Currently, he serves as Senior Advisor to the Global Centre for Asian Women's Health at NUS and At-Sunrice.
