The online Diploma in Pastry & Bakery is a 6-month e-learning programme consisting of synchronous and asynchronous self-directed online study.

 

It allows students to study the fundamentals and slowly progress to advanced skills and knowledge in Pastry & Bakery at their own pace individually. The online Diploma programme comprises an integrated and broad-based training approach which includes soft-skills components necessary to deepen and broaden specific jobs occupation. Hence it enables our students to be future-ready and adapt to the fast-changing/dynamic Food & Beverage work environment.

 

Programme content of this online Diploma follows the Pastry & Bakery progression track and is benchmarked against the Food Services Skills Framework of SkillsFuture Singapore.

Ideal candidates for this programme should have a passion for pastry & bakery, possess basic computer skills, good moral character, be artistic and disciplined. All prospective students need to complete an interview and online profiling test upon successful submission of application forms. All local and international applicants should meet the following minimum entry requirements (MERs) for this programme.

• At least 16 years old

• Possess basic computer skills


Educational Qualifications
• US High school educational level or equivalent qualifications
• Advanced level of Online English Bridging Course/IELTS 5.0/TOEFL (internet-based total) 35-45/WPL 5 or be a native speaker.


Programme Requirement
• Have access to a laptop/desktop

  • Enrolment is subject to availability and incomplete applications will not be processed.

  • Trainee who chooses to drop out prior to successful completion will be requested to pay the programme fees in full and will not be entitled to any certificates.

a. Minimum attendance of 75% ;

b. Pass all assessments required by the programme;
