In 2021, he founded CANCHITA Peruvian Cuisine in Singapore, driven by a mission to showcase Latino culture in Asia. About Chef Tamara Chavez

 

With 14 years of global culinary expertise, Mexican-born Tamara Chavez stands as a foremost ambassador of Latin American cuisine in Singapore and beyond. Trained at Peru's renowned El Mercado under Chef Rafael Osterling, she skillfully blends Peru's rich culinary traditions with the diverse flavors of Latin America. A three-time finalist for the Female Chef Of The Year award at the World Gourmet Summit, Tamara's culinary prowess and dedication have garnered widespread recognition. In 2022, she was honored as Mentor Chef of the Year by At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy, highlighting her commitment to nurturing local culinary talent in Singapore.
